Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) : Derby, Classroom

Looking for face-to-face MHFA training in Derby?

Whilst lockdown has seen much training delivery move online, there’s something to be said for good old-fashioned in-person training.

We love meeting all our MHFA training delegates face-to-face and getting to strut our stuff in the classroom with our whiteboards, tech, fab lunches, copious amounts of coffee and biscuits, and lots of chatter.

So, now that COVID-19 restrictions have finally been lifted, we’re delighted to be back once again delivering classroom-based MHFA training in Derby.

We’re Derby-based MHFA trainers

We’re physically based in Derby, with our offices at the Unesco World Heritage Site of Darley Abbey Mills.

So, we have a whole host of spectacular history, rivers, and green open spaces right on our doorstep.

That’s actually our offices in the picture.

Nice, huh?!

Take a look for yourself with a virtual fly around!

We deliver in-person MHFA courses in Derby

We deliver regularly scheduled public classroom-based MHFA training in Derby from either our in-house training suite at our offices in Darley Abbey Mills or our alternative training venue on Pride Park.

Both locations are only a short distance from Derby city centre, and easily reachable from major road and rail routes.

Our venues offer nearby free parking and also feature accessibility-friendly facilities.

We’re Derby’s top-rated MHFA training provider

As you’d expect, our trainers are fully accredited by MHFA England, and have been delivering MHFA courses for a number of years now.

However, our trainers are also CIPD accredited, as well as being experienced L&D professionals and HR consultants. So, we have a fair bit more to offer than the average Derby MHFA provider, particularly in terms of practical application of your learning to the workplace.

But don’t just take our word for it.

We think the numerous testimonials from previous delegates of our MHFA courses speak for themselves:

Annie is a really bubbly character

The webinar was led by Annie from Loates. Annie is a really bubbly character and engaged with the participants in a relaxed and friendly manner.

I found the content of the webinar really helpful in making suggestions to tweak our performance review process. As a business we are in the early implementation stages of carrying out performance reviews so it was a very timely session. Employee engagement is one of the key issues to the business succeeding. The webinar gave us an opportunity to do some little breakout exercises which gave us an opportunity to reflect on how we could help to develop our colleagues. With this being more of a workshop session we also have the opportunity to interact with others on the session. It was interesting to learn of the challenges others had and how they were trying to resolve them.
Annie is clearly a bookworm and made a number of suggestions regards to reading material to consider. My Audible account is now down to zero credit and Amazon have delivered some bedtime reading.

Thanks Annie & Loates for running this session; I found it really helpful.
